If you have low energy, constipation, headaches, or generally don’t feel very well, you might not be drinking enough water.
This simple formula can tell you how much to swallow:
**Your body weight divided by 2 = # of ounces you should drink every day**
For example, if you weigh 160 pounds, you should drink 80 ounces of water per day to maintain proper brain, muscle and nerve function. Do the best you can!
Using a water bottle can help you monitor how much you need to drink. Set goals for yourself throughout the day, and start EARLY. Don’t try to catch up later in the day or you will be up at night using the restroom!
**Monitor the color of your urine, if it is light yellow, you are drinking the right amount of water.**
